OUR STORY
In 1999, Rafael Gascot started working in his family’s construction business in Puerto Rico, where he was born and raised. For nearly 20 years he worked in all facets of the business – learning the commercial market, government work, infrastructure and material sales. Rafael always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and when a work opportunity presented itself in Louisiana, he moved with his wife and two sons to Mandeville in 2016. A year later, he founded Gascot Construction. Seven years later, this DBE certified company has grown to 30 employees, has successfully completed 20 major projects and is responsible for $30 million in improvement contracts.
